It is important to be able to project your voice to fill the biggest venues. A more powerful voice will sound better when amplified and grab your audience’s attention.

CONFIDENCE

Singing is a great way of building confidence. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you are able to sing in front of an audience in a relaxed and confident way.

IMPROVE YOUR RANGE

With the correct technique it is easy to smoothly sing over a range of at least three octaves, whilst retaining the beauty and individuality of your voice.

STAMINA

Using the correct technique I will work with you to ensure you are able to perform as frequently, and for as long as you like. Caring for your voice ensures your career won’t be cut short unnecessarily.

What is 'good singing'?

'Good singing' is very subjective and I never push my opinion on my pupils, or to sing in any particular style or genre. Once I have shown you how to sing with correct technique, and you are happy with the way your voice sounds, I can help you to stylise your voice any way you like.

 

Do you have a new repertoire of songs that you would like to learn how to sing?

A song can be covered in many different ways. Instead of imitating the original singer it is best to tailor the song to fit your individual style. We can work through your whole repertoire of songs so that you are happy with the style you are singing, and the expression you are using.

 

Genres

I have taught and sung a broad range of musical genres, including hard rock, folk, musical, classical and opera.

 

Just for fun...

This option is very popular. We live only once, so why not enjoy every minute of life, perhaps with a singing teacher. You can enjoy yourself whilst also learning some singing skills. You may develop yourself and your voice skills, or just gain the confidence to perform and who knows, people may love your voice. But the main point is you will enjoy yourself.
